Who I Am
The human behind
the algorithms
I grew up in Kathmandu, tinkering with HTML and CSS long before I understood what a career in tech could look like. As a teenager, I built my first website — a personal blog about trekking in Nepal — and that's where the seed was planted. The site looked decent, but nobody could find it. That frustration led me down the rabbit hole of search engine optimization.
What started as a way to get my blog noticed quickly turned into a full-blown obsession. I spent nights reading Google's documentation, experimenting with keyword placement, analyzing backlink profiles, and figuring out why some sites ranked while others disappeared into the void. I realized SEO sat at the perfect intersection of technology, content, and marketing — and I was hooked.
Over the years, I've gone from ranking a small Kathmandu cafe on Google Maps to delivering full-scale SEO strategies for international SaaS companies and eCommerce brands. As an SEO specialist in Nepal, I've worked with clients across Nepal, Australia, the US, and the UK — each project sharpening my skills and deepening my understanding of how search really works.
Today I work as an independent SEO consultant in Nepal, helping businesses grow through organic search. My work is rooted in data, driven by curiosity, and guided by a simple belief: every business deserves to be found by the people looking for it.
A note on what you will not find on this site. I used to publish the things every SEO site in Nepal publishes — project counts, client counts, a retention percentage, big traffic figures attached to anonymous case studies. I have removed all of it. Not because the work behind it was not real, but because none of it was something you could check, and an unverifiable number is worth nothing to you at the exact moment you are deciding who to trust.
What replaces it is harder to fake. Every engagement is scoped in writing against a named metric before it starts. Reporting runs on your own Search Console and Analytics, under your ownership, so you can audit my work without asking me for permission. Reviews sit on my Google Business Profile where they are tied to real accounts I cannot edit. And if you want evidence of outcomes before committing, I will walk you through a live client property with the client present, or connect you with a reference.
The Nepal SEO market runs on inflated claims — guaranteed rankings, fabricated testimonials, backlink packages sold by the hundred. Competing on the same terms would mean becoming harder to distinguish from it. I would rather be checkable.
